Royal Delft has been making high-quality Delft Blue pottery since 1653. In the thirties of the eighteenth century, no fewer than ten types were launched in Delft. According to the fashion of that time, cupboards were placed on the overhanging hood of a cabinet. This jar with a lid has stood the test of time.
